Dick Cheney's Adventure
Having heard the adventure of Dick Cheney's hunting trip I feel the Vice President should be charged like any other "regular joe". The ordinary person with an expired hunting sticker "accidently" shooting their hunting comrad would be held accountable and charged with careless use of a firearm and hunting without a lawful permit. In this we have another case of different strokes for different folks. Let us not forget that there was also a convenient delay in reporting the incident in the first place so as to make sure the guy did not die and then it would of been an accidental death. The Bush administration gets another "little problem" out of the way, they think, but the media will make sure it does not go away that easy. Let us see what happens but I am sure it will slowly go away. Way to go George!

Canadian Election
Well Canadian voter fatigue has decided that the Conservatives should run the country for now! The Canadian public wants to be rewarded by the Conservatives for putting them back in office after 13 years in the "political desert". Let us see what happens in the months ahead and hope they last longer than the last government.

The Sphinx and Pyramid

My wife and I would love to go and see Egypt and all it's sites. We both find its ancient history so fascinating.

Violence Continues
The violence continues in Iraq and the United States is in denial because their policy there must continue at all costs. The United States must reconsider their policy there and get their troops out. The oil contracts can still be honored and new ones can be negotiated once a new regime is implemented by the people of Iraq. Religion is a big part of the people's lives there and the United States still fails to understand this fundamental principle. The United States military presence there will prevent true democracy from taking hold and continue to feed the violence in Iraq.

Iraq
The time has come for the United Nations to get involved in the Iraq situation and get the member nations to pull out their troops. The Iraqi people will decide how they want to govern their nation and not how other nations want to govern them. This is the essence of democracy.
